While I'm stuck at home with an ear infection (I thought only kids got those!) I thought I would update my blog. A couple of weeks ago my class grew a snowflake in science. We predicted the results and drew and labeled pictures of the before and after for our snowflakes.
First, I made a snowflake with string and pipe cleaners. I suspended in a jar with a solution of 3 tablespoons Borax for every cup of hot water. Then, we let the "snowflake" grow overnight. Check out the results. It was super cool!
